Our dynamic and enterprising co-founder, Sarita Patil is an institution in herself. From being a part of the leadership teams of some of the biggest names in film & production houses such as Balaji Telefilms, Viacom 18, UTV Motion Pictures, to spearheading several feature films and digital content, Sarita brings 30 remarkable years of experience and leadership skills to the table.

Known throughout the industry for her diligence, vigour, and ingenuity, she continues to be an inspiration for many. For all of us at Matchbox, she’s like the masala to our maggi, the base to our pizza, the milk in our coffee.

Dikssha Jyote Routray

Our co-founder Dikssha Routray’s 10-year career graph is a testimony of her multipotentiality. She’s come a long way from being a copywriter in an advertising firm to an assistant director, and then a producer, and now a writer as well.

Her film Red Velvet was nominated at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne as well as in our very own Filmfare Awards too! At Matchbox Shots, Dikssha oversees everything from concept development to collaborating with leading directors, to the execution. She’s one hell of an all-rounder we just can’t do without!

With over 20 years of experience in the film industry, Sanjay has been the main man behind setting up and executing the production modalities for several sleeper hit films and a few international documentaries. From TV commercials to feature films, working with newbie directors or National Award-winners, our co-founder Sanjay Routray has done it all.

He amazes with his strong eye for detail, identifying and nurturing stories with fresh perspective, and his art of perfecting every project. And the cherry on the cake? He has a funny bone too!
